new releases, celebrity crushes, iconic scenes we could quote in our sleep, and the fandoms you do not want to cross. this is where we talk about everything on a screen that isn't a reunion.

lately that's meant Primetime, the A24 movie about Chris Hansen and To Catch a Predator, which one of us wants to see for reasons that are definitely about the filmmaking and not a celebrity crush. it's also meant a firm position on spoilers: "there's a twist" counts, and we will not be taking questions. there's a very short appreciation of the Jurassic Park water glass scene, and a story about what happens when a fandom decides you're the main character for the day (we'll just say the Swifties are efficient). then Mike Flanagan's Carrie on Prime Video: whether Emaline ruined the ending, why nobody gave Carrie a buddy on her first day, and why it's honestly just the average high school experience. most recently it's been a run of 2026 movies: Buddy, the horror comedy where a 90s kids' show unicorn goes on a murderous rage (we're scared to even say his name), Tony and whether Anthony Bourdain is responsible for blackened cod, and Mother Mary, which we'd describe as the Wicked press tour turned into an entire movie.

the common thread is that we love this stuff and we have opinions about it, sometimes strong ones. we're not critics and we don't do reviews. we're two people who talk about movies and tv the way you'd talk about them with a friend after the credits roll.
