the take
the h3 comment sections have turned into a murder board. people post a clip like aha, this is when he got the text, and then someone else shows up with proof it was from a completely different time and has nothing to do with anything, and now they're fighting back and forth. everyone wants to be the one who cracks the case. so yes, the whole internet is a sheep detective now. great Sheep Detectives reference, we had to throw it in.
this is the hosts' commentary and speculation for entertainment, not a statement of fact about anyone in it.
the backstory
The Sheep Detectives is a 2026 mystery comedy directed by Kyle Balda and written by Craig Mazin, based on Leonie Swann's 2005 novel Three Bags Full. Hugh Jackman plays George, a shepherd who reads detective novels to his flock every night. When he's found dead, the sheep decide it was murder and try to solve it themselves.
It opened in theaters in the US on May 8, 2026 through Amazon MGM Studios. That's the joke here: fans going frame by frame through old H3 livestreams to build a timeline are basically a flock of very confident sheep with a library card. None of the fan timelines have been confirmed by anyone involved.
