Spoilers through episode 6 ahead. In episode 5 of The Traitors: New Blood, the three Traitors, Joe Vanella, Tomica Adams and Katie Fites, were told to murder in plain sight: one of them had to get a poisoned apple to a shortlisted player, who had to catch it. Joe's first toss, to Morgan, missed, so he ate the apple to cover. Tomica then offered fruit around the kitchen.
The guy who called it was Victor Vollbrechthausen, who said he'd never seen Joe eat a fruit and flagged the apple behavior as suspicious. He wasn't totally alone, though: Abby also guessed a murder in plain sight was happening. Episode 5 ended on a cliffhanger, and episode 6, which aired October 15, 2026, revealed that Joe got an apple to Niyyah Hayes, who was murdered.
Victor took his fruit theory to the Round Table and pointed at Tomica, but the group banished Faithful Michael Foote instead. So the hosts have it right: he called it, and nobody listened.
