the take
everyone loves telling someone they'd make such a good traitor. but the producers know that too, so maybe that's exactly who they won't cast. they've done this before. hello. it was wild seeing the actor from Industry play, because she even said her character would be great at this, but she's not her character. and this is the first season we've heard makeup used as evidence: someone touched up late and people said if you were a traitor you'd have more scenes to film. honestly, so practical. then Jerry Hall flagged the Industry actor for not wearing makeup. interesting.
this is the hosts' commentary and speculation for entertainment, not a statement of fact about anyone in it.
the backstory
Spoilers through episode 6 of The Celebrity Traitors series 2 ahead. "The girl from Industry" is Myha'la, who plays Harper Stern on Industry. She has talked about dressing nothing like Harper in the castle to avoid being typecast as a schemer. It didn't save her: she was banished in episode 3 and revealed as a Faithful. On screen, Claudia Winkleman picks the Traitors in episode 1, and she picked Maya Jama and Richard E. Grant.
The makeup theory came up in episode 2. Hannah Fry said she had seen Leigh-Anne Pinnock putting on makeup late in the evening, maybe on her way to the turret, and Jerry Hall agreed that "putting on lipstick late at night doesn't make sense." Leigh-Anne is a Faithful.
Jerry's comment about Myha'la came the morning after Myha'la was already banished: Jerry said Myha'la had stopped wearing makeup and that it was suspicious, and James Acaster reminded her Myha'la had already been revealed as a Faithful. So the hosts are right that it happened, it was just a little late.

- 0:08And also like the producers know that maybe people are going to think that person's a traitor. So they're not going to cast them as a traitor.

- 0:47Because if you were a traitor, you'd have more scenes that you'd need to film.
- 0:50Right. And I was like, oh, my God, that is just so practical. Right.
