the take
the traitors keep picking people who are so obvious. Jerry and Hannah got put in a grave together, Jerry screamed haggis because she couldn't take being buried for a few seconds, and suddenly everyone was looking at the two of them. and then the traitors picked Hannah to recruit. we get the logic in theory, maybe it's a little sabotage, but she already had heat on her. why pick someone people are already going to be suspicious of? make the math make sense, a mathematician would want that.
this is the hosts' commentary and speculation for entertainment, not a statement of fact about anyone in it.
the backstory
Spoilers through episode 6 of The Celebrity Traitors series 2 ahead. In episode 2's graveyard mission, the celebrities were buried in pairs. Anyone could shout the safe word "Haggis" to get out, but that put them and their partner up for murder. Jerry Hall shouted it, so she and her partner, mathematician Professor Hannah Fry, were the only two players eligible to be murdered that night.
In episode 3, the Faithful banished Traitor Richard E. Grant. Instead of murdering, the remaining Traitors, Maya Jama and James Acaster, offered Hannah a cloak, and she accepted. When Jerry and Hannah both walked into breakfast alive, the castle worked out that someone had been recruited, and Miranda Hart suspected Hannah almost right away.
So the hosts' math holds up. Hannah was banished at the episode 5 Round Table and revealed as a Traitor, with Maya and James both voting for her. The Traitors then recruited King Kenny.

- 0:34So I'm like, why pick someone that people are already going to be suspicious of?
