the other thing we're loving about the celebrity version: two episodes a week. we know that makes it sound like we just love watching tv, and fine. but a lot can happen in a week. two challenges (not our favourite part, but whatever), two round tables, two murders. the plot actually moves. what we hate is when the whole episode is basically the challenge, a little chit chat, and then you don't find out who got murdered until next week. at this rate, just set up a live cam at the castle.

the backstory
Spoilers through episode 6 of The Celebrity Traitors series 2 ahead. The BBC's celebrity version airs two episodes a week, Thursdays and Fridays at 8 p.m. UK time on BBC One and iPlayer. Series 2 premiered on October 1, 2026, and all 10 episodes fit into one month, with the finale on October 30.
The comparison is NBC's The Traitors: New Blood, which airs once a week on Thursdays (only the first four episodes were doubled up). Its episode 5 ended on the apple murder cliffhanger on October 8, and viewers had to wait until episode 6 on October 15 to find out Niyyah Hayes was the victim.
To be fair to New Blood, the UK show does cliffhangers too: episode 6 ended on a perfume murder in plain sight on Friday, October 16, and episode 7 doesn't air until Thursday, October 22. So even with two a week, the weekend still hurts.
