the take

the h3 costume talk sent us straight back to Scandoval. in October 2022, while he was still with Ariana, Tom Sandoval went out as Raquel: blonde wig, TomTom sweatshirt, the works. it was in the middle of the affair nobody knew about yet. there's a desire to telegraph it, and honestly? desperate. desperate behavior.

this is the hosts' commentary and speculation for entertainment, not a statement of fact about anyone in it.

the backstory

Scandoval broke in March 2023, when it came out that Tom Sandoval had been having an affair with his Vanderpump Rules co-star Raquel Leviss while he was in a nine-year relationship with Ariana Madix.

once it broke, fans went back through the timeline and found Sandoval's Halloween 2022 costume: he'd dressed as Raquel, in a blonde wig and a TomTom sweatshirt, months before anyone knew. the clip opens on a costume story from the H3 Podcast, Hila and Tamara dressed as Thing One and Thing Two. any link between that and the affair rumors is fan speculation, and nobody involved has confirmed it.
